Background
Karen Quick was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley and knows the area well. Growing up with her family in the residential construction industry, Karen opted for a related field and became a real estate agent. As a former member of the National Association of Realtors, Karen possesses a unique insight into home inspections as related to real estate transactions.
After completing over 400 hours of class courses and field training and over 100 home inspections, Karen received the status of full membership in the National Society of Home Inspectors. She then qualified for membership in the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, after passing their tests she applied and was accepted in that organization. In addition, she is qualified to inspect for Structural Pests and Wood Destroying Organisms. She has credentials as a certified residential mold inspector and certified commercial mold inspector and although she has the certification to perform mold remediation, she chooses to remain unbiased and does not offer any remediation or repair services. After completing these courses she was qualified for and became a member of the National Association of Mold Inspectors. She also completed specialized training for Manufactured/Mobile Home inspections. In keeping with public interest in energy efficiency, Karen has certified as both an Energy Auditor and Weatherization Auditor. Her background and training far exceeds the Pennsylvania standards for certification as a home inspector. She currently has over 12 years of home inspection experience.
Karen is also certified through the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection to perform radon testing.
Her experience and eye for detail will produce a professional, comprehensive report on your new home. Detailed descriptions and photographs of her findings will enable you to make an informed decision.
